Kids nature camps terms & conditions

By registering and paying our nature camps you agree to our terms and conditions:

These terms apply to all bookings made with Terragon Nature Camps, located in the Netherlands.
For questions, contact: info@terragon.nl

By purchasing a ticket and ticking the acceptance box, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking authority

Tickets may only be purchased by a parent or legal guardian of the participating child.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 No right of withdrawal
Our nature camps are leisure activities taking place on specific dates. Therefore, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.

2.2 No refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. This also applies in cases of illness, injury, or other personal circumstances of the participant or parents.

2.3 Change of date
At our discretion, we may allow a one-time transfer to a future camp date, subject to availability.
This is not guaranteed.
An administration fee of €50 applies.

2.4 Cancellation by the organizer
If the camp is cancelled by the organizer, a full refund will be provided or the ticket may be transferred to a future camp date.

2.5 Personal tickets / no resale
Tickets are personal and may not be resold or transferred without prior written consent from the organizer. Tickets obtained through unauthorized resale are invalid.

3. Permissions & Waiver

By purchasing a ticket, the parent or legal guardian confirms the following:

3.1 Parental consent
I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participating child and give permission for my child to participate in the camp and all associated activities.

3.2 Nature and risk acknowledgment
I understand that the camp takes place outdoors and includes activities such as walking, playing, climbing, jumping, use of natural materials, and exposure to weather conditions. I acknowledge the normal and foreseeable risks associated with outdoor activities.

3.3 Liability
The organizer is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the camp, except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the organizer.

3.4 Medical treatment consent
I authorize the organizer to seek emergency medical treatment for my child if necessary. Any medical costs remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

3.5 Health and participation responsibility
Parents or guardians confirm that their child is physically and mentally able to participate in the camp activities. Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs must be communicated to Terragon in advance of participation.

Terragon aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment, including for children with special needs. However, participation requires that children have a basic level of independence, are able to interact peacefully with other children, do not have a tendency to run away, and are toilet-trained. Terragon does not provide one-to-one medical, therapeutic, or behavioural supervision unless explicitly agreed in advance.

3.6 Photo and video permission
I give permission for photos and videos taken during the camp to be used for communication and promotional purposes (such as website and social media).
Photos and videos are used without identifying children by name.
If I do not consent, I will inform the organizer in writing before the camp starts.

3.7 Social media platform AI settings
Terragon Nature Camps uses social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for communication. Where platform settings allow, Terragon has opted out of the use of uploaded photos and videos for artificial intelligence (AI) training purposes.

3.8 Accuracy of information
I confirm that all information provided is complete and accurate.

4. Pick-up and Drop-off Support

As the camp location is not easily accessible by public transport, Terragon may offer optional Pick-up & Drop-off Support to assist participation where needed. This support is provided solely in connection with participation in the camp programme and is not offered as a commercial transport service.

Where applicable, a fixed weekly support contribution may be requested. This contribution forms part of the programme’s organisational and logistical support and does not represent payment for transport. Further practical details are provided on the Pick-up & Drop-off Information page, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
