Wednesday Nature Club, a weekly experience to connect with nature!
TEAM AND GOALS
Your kid will explore nature like a tiny Darwin, with the help of Ema, a biologist and artist, and Tudor, our permaculture master.
Kids will develop experimental thinking and ownership. We focus on developing a curiosity for nature while getting the actual tools you need to figure out the answers on your own – all in our magical forest!
At Nature Club we combine a love of nature with creativity!
We learn about plants and animals from the environment at Terragon.
During the spring Nature Club, children learned to use microscopes to reveal the amazing natural world in everyday things:
from leaves, to eggs, to insects. They kept notebooks where they collected different kinds of leaves and flowers, drew bugs they found, made notes about what they saw.
We made greenhouses, planted seeds and watched them grow!
In the autumn we’ll keep exploring nature, learning new skills and having fun!
Camp counselors Ema and Rudy will bring their knowledge and creativity every week to encourage the kids to develop skills, knowledge, and most of all- curiosity!
In true Terragon style, we leave lots of time for free play and outdoor active games!
